Happy New Year! I am so grateful that God gave us life to witness 2026. I wish you a happy, prosperous, and blessed year ahead, filled with joy and happiness. May we strive for inner peace and commit to becoming better people for ourselves.
What’s New with Siti Nuriati Studio?
Firstly, I am so delighted that I started blogging again. I had been abandoning blogging for a number of years. I think the reason I did that was because I wasn’t very happy with the blog section on my website, so I decided to stop blogging altogether.
A few months prior to this new blog, I was thinking hard about starting one again because I wanted to share the progress of my World’s National Flowers project. There are times when I don’t feel like making videos, so writing is just perfect for me. Also, my declining interest in social media pushed me to take this decision to start a blog again.
My husband asked a legitimate question: “What do you want to do? What’s the reason you want to start blogging again?” That made me think about my decision more thoroughly. Finally, I decided: the most important thing is to update my project’s progress.
I also have another section where I emphasize the immigrant story, starting with my own. I have something to offer for downloads, and later on, I will be promoting my shop. Basically, I just love to write, so I want to start writing again. I did social media in the past, but it didn’t satisfy me. I needed my own place rather than “rented space” (social media).
My husband finally set up my blog. The fun thing for me was choosing a theme! I wanted my blog to be different this time. The theme I decided on is truly wonderful. I just love the design—poke around my blog site and let me know what you think!
The Six New Categories
I also did some research on how I could name the categories better. Here are the categories:
From My Desk
I have been maintaining this category for a long time, since I started my blog back in 2012 or 2013. I just love the idea of “From My Desk” or “From Siti’s Desk.” This is a place where I announce news, new things (like a new print you can check out), or simply talk about new ideas.
World’s National Flowers
This is the most important category—my project updates. I chose to put “World’s National Flowers” in the title because when visitors eventually peruse my blog, I want them to look straight away at this section. This will include the behind-the-scenes of my project, painting progress, and information about all 197 countries’ national flowers.
Creativity
At first, I couldn’t decide between “Fine Arts,” “Paper Crafts,” and “Creative Business Corner.” These were my original categories from my previous blog. But I wanted to limit my categories to maybe five or six, so I came up with one word that combines these three areas: Creativity. I grouped all fine art, paper craft tutorials, and the creative business corner into this one category.
Shopping
This is something I didn’t do in the past, but this time I wanted to do it because it’s essential to push my shop. This is a new category called Shopping. After looking at several magazines, the thing that stood out was they had a shopping section where they highlighted products from brands. For my blog, I want to highlight my own products. In this section, I will talk about one particular product (including pictures), what’s cool about it, and so on.
Lifestyle
Late last year, I already started talking about my story. But what if I want to talk about other stuff, like for example my cat? Or share some recipes, or ideas about new furniture we bought, or basically just talk about life? I did some research, and the best category for this is Lifestyle. The Lifestyle category will include “Siti’s Story” (immigrant stories), homeschooling, home tours, recipes, travel, and basically life. I am excited about this new category!
Inner Peace
Last but not least, this category is also so important to me. Instead of using the word “Spirituality,” I named it Inner Peace. In the “Inner Peace” category, I’ll share my religious side. I’ll have Quran recitation, my thoughts about hijab, or share my practices to earn inner peace, and basically to motivate us as human beings to be better, to be good. All of us want inner peace, right? Whatever I practice and whatever helps myself, I’ll share this with you here.

So there you have it! Stay Kreatif With Siti – A Siti Nuriati Studio Blog will consist of six categories: From My Desk, World’s National Flowers, Shopping, Creativity, Lifestyle, and Inner Peace.
I’ll also treat this as my personal/business journal, where I can talk about anything that matters to me. We’ll see how this blog is going to evolve, but, right now, I just want to have fun blogging and sharing stories with beautiful photos.
Readers can also go to my shop, download free workbooks, or go to my main website to learn more about my important project: the World’s National Flowers. I’m so excited as this is my first solo international venture!
Again, I want to wish you a prosperous and Happy New Year. I wish you all the best for 2026. Start your year right by setting a strong intention (niyyah). As Muslims, our intention is always to first please God and seek blessings in everything we do.
